Unit 7 sharing experiences #fdol132 @openfdol

Let’s celebrate together!

Dear colleague where did all the time go? We have now completed all main FDOL132 units and are entering unit 7 which is the last one. We are so pleased that so many of you have shown such a commitment and engaged really well with some of the course activities and most importantly have really used this as an opportunity to connect with others.

Unit 7 will be a great opportunity for all of us, and we include the facilitators as well  to reflect on our experiences and share these with each other. Please check out https://fdol.wordpress.com/units/unit-7-sharing/ for further information about this unit and engage in the suggested activities. If you are working within a PBL group, please complete all work up to unit 6 and share it with the community for feedback. Please remember to give feedback to others.

The unit 7 webinar (trying to avoid writing ‘last’)  has been scheduled for Thursday the 5th of December 6.30-8pm (UK time). Please be there. We have increased the duration of this so that we can all have a bit more time as this is the webinar where we won’t have an external speaker. It will be just us FDOLers 😉 During this we would like us all to share our personal FDOL132 stories. What did you learn about yourself? What did you learn about learning in an open course? What did you learn about flexible, distance and online learning? What comes next? The webinar will be structured around these main questions. Feel free to use these and reflect on them in your portfolios and/or the Google + community.

If you need our help, please let us know, ok? We really look forward working with you in unit 7 and know that this is not the end but a new beginning for all of us.

See you all online 😉

Chrissi, Lars, Maria and Neil
